The Tabwa Collection
Tabwa is a collection of contemporary wooden furniture transformed into unique pieces of art where each pattern is carefully carved in to solid Teak by Indonesian artisans. Part of the Ancestors collection from Ethnicraft celebrating artisan craftsmanship, it is named for the Tabwa culture from Central Africa. The collection’s inspiration comes from their fondness for linear geometric motifs and its heavy carvings are juxtaposed with a simple black metal frame.
The Teak is darkened allowing movement of colour and varnished, a black tint is continued through to the interiors. It is both bold and subtle, we love the statement sizes that are available that add drama to a room whilst storing away life's essentials. The range consists of sideboards and cupboards, a long console table, media units and coffee tables.

The Tabwa collection offers timeless centerpieces with minimalistic silhouettes and a unique and distinct character. Due to the hand-created nature of the manufacturing process, each item will vary slightly in its finished character.
CARE: For regular dusting use a dry cloth. For cleaning, or in case of a spill, use a damp cloth and natural soap.
Dry with a soft clean cloth. Do not use abrasive products. We always recommend using coasters, mousepads, or placemats on surfaces as heat and extreme repetitive daily use can damage the finish.
