30 years of Blacks
Can you believe it has been 30 years since we opened the doors to our very first showroom all the way back in 1989. Initially set up as small family pine furniture business our BLACKS name very quickly became synonymous with fine furniture craft across Hertfordshire. Lucky for us it has continued to do so ever since!
Three decades on we’re still very much a family business with two beautiful showrooms in both Radlett and St Albans. Our in house design studio is in the 500 year old Tithe Barn that we have called home for 30 years. In recent years we’ve also expanded our home accessories collections drawing inspiration from all corners of the globe with our second showroom showcasing a collection of our furniture and our interiors inspiration and gift collections. It goes without saying that we love what we do and so wish to say a huge heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful customers that have supported us over the last 30 years! We can’t wait to see what the next 30 brings.
Our annual Christmas shopping event doubled up as our celebration weekend where Ian Black welcomed customers old and new at the Barn. His parents, founders Tony and Margaret Black, are pictured enjoying the event and catching up with the local clients and friends.
